Course information

During this comprehensive first aid course you will learn all the skills needed to provide adequate first aid for the most diverse injuries, including CPR and the use of an AED. You learn how to bring a victim to safety, assess the condition and alert the emergency services.

Under the guidance of a certified Red Cross instructor you will learn to provide first aid to a victim with unconsciousness, chest pain, stroke, choking/choking, mild traumatic brain injury, skin wound, fainting, hemorrhage, insect sting, burn, tick bite, bruise, touch with jellyfish, sprain, irritation by oak processionary caterpillar, dislocation, shortness of breath, broken bone, panic attack (hyperventilation), poisoning, hypothermia, nosebleed, overheating, object in ear or nose, diabetes, tooth through the lip, epilepsy, knocked-out tooth, febrile convulsion, neck and spinal injuries, amputations and eye injuries.

If you successfully complete the course, you will receive a European recognized Red Cross first aid certificate after the course. The certificate is valid for two years and can be renewed by following a refresher course. After the course you will receive the First Aid course book as a reference.
